Australian International Co-Secretary, Convenor Local Branch, member Victorian State Council

I am passionate about developing and extending the APGF to be a more effective body in whatever way I can.

I have over 20 years experience as a Senior Project Manager managing teams of up to 40 people, and have extensive experience negotiating outcomes that are acceptable to all parties. I have a management style that is inclusive and consultative and I pride myself in being honest and open in my dealings with colleagues.

My strengths lie in organisation, coordination, and following through to make sure tasks get done in a timely manner.

I am also adept at Project financial tracking, Project scheduling, Risk management, Issue Management, and People management.

I have been a member of the Australian Greens for 20 years, and the convenor of my local branch for nearly 10 years. Over the last few years the number of active members has more than tripled.

Over the last 4 years, I have been a member of my State Council and also spent a year on the State Executive. These positions require an understanding and ability to deal with internal political issues as well as National and State politics.

I am the current International Co-Secretary for Australia, and working in this position has helped me understand and have empathy for international issues and problems.
