Dorothy Nalubega is the Executive Director of the Ecological party of Uganda as well as the African Coordinator for the Global Greens Women’s network; and Founding Chairperson of East African Greens Women’s Network.

Dorothy works as a Human Rights activist in the field of women, children, and vulnerable groups as well as working on environmental rights.  

Dorothy has spoke on her unique experiences and how women are a very important asset in for mobilization and action inside political parties.. Running an emerging Green party  requires concerted efforts to achieve the results, without the involvement of women. it wouldn’t have been easy to build up the ecological party of Uganda. Dorothy will highlight her examples from Africa and how we can learn from these in the Asia Pacific in order to get good results. It is  important to consider involving women because they have the power to make change……get some inspiration to be the power to make the change.
