Saving Maui's dolphins

New Zealanders love the Maui’s dolphin, and the Green Party has a plan to save them.

Maui's dolphins are a source of delight and pride for New Zealand. These boisterous creatures are the smallest and rarest dolphins in the world and live only on the West Coast of the North Island.

Scientists estimate that there are only 55 adult Maui's dolphin left in the world, and they need our protection in order to survive. Sadly, National's policies are driving the Maui's to extinction.

Sea Butterfly. Pearl in a vinegar bottle

By Stafford Ray

This little guy is only 1cm long, but he is a vital link in the chain that feeds billions of people.

He is eaten by fish that eat other fish and we eat them. He goes, people starve.

Sea Butterfly.

Tallest cathedrals

rest on a grain of sand,

Sharing the load

across its billions.
