Louise Crossley and the Global Greens Charter

Tribute to Dr. Louise Crossley who, among her many feats & contributions to the Greens movement, prepared the Global Greens Charter. Her commitment, fortitude and inspiration brought the Charter to life.  Louise died in Hobart Tasmania on Thursday 30 June. She made a magnificent contribution and will be greatly missed by the many who were touched through her amazing life.

The Association is named the Taiwan Friends of the Global Greens ("the Association").

Green Federations / National Parties: 

The Global Greens Charter was adopted by consensus at the 1st Global Greens Congress in Canberra in 2001. The core of the document sets out the principles that bind together Greens from around the world: ecological wisdom, social justice, participatory democracy, nonviolence, sustainability and respect for diversity.  The second section is a 'political action' plan covering some of the most pressing problems facing the world.
